Plan to Paddle a River Tomorrow Sat. May 9th Checking River Gauges and Figuring out Today's Rain

To All,    We have yet to declare a river for sure, but we are looking at Big Walnut in Indiana. This is a fast flowing creek between Crawfordsville and Indianapolis that we rarely get to paddle every year although we would love to. Big Walnut is about an eleven mile scenic and adventurous trip full of class 1 rapids, rocks, riffles and chutes everywhere. It is one of our favorites and we long every year to run it. Right now it is at a good level but we are interested in seeing what today's rains might bring. Therefore, we are asking you to be calm and wait for another e-mail for later today.
