To All,     Another hard choice this week for rivers.   Middle Fork too low  200cfs.   Mackinaw River a little too high at over 600 cfs  .  Yeah, we could do it but I would feel uncomfortable if we ended up with some rookies. And a lot of our usuals are gone for a week. Let's save it for a better day.  Sugar Creek is at a good level. Just over 400 cfs. But that is an hour and a half drive and it will only be temps in the sixties. Could be wet and cold for tip overs. And this e-mail isn't much notice for a road trip. So that leaves us with the ever faithful Salt Fork. At 3.65 ft on the gauge tis will probably go down to low of about 3.3in for tomorrow . A little low but passable. And we could have an experience like two weeks ago. The gauge is near St. Joe and we will be15 miles downstream and if some of its tributaries are running there will be more water. So let's go.  Let us know by 8:30 AM Sat. if you need a boat. Please arrive at Rich's a few min. before 10AM. As usual, Anja and I will be there around 8AM if you care to meet us for breakfast. Dress for temps in sixties and the water will still be cold. Extra clothes in waterproof bag could be a good idea.      We hope to see some of you there.       Mike & Anja Metz
