Salt Fork River Paddle on Sunday March 29 , Leave Rich's Restaurant at 1PM

To All,        For our area this weekend, the Salt Fork is about our only good choice.  We will probably go for a 1PM start form Rich's Restaurant in Ogden, IL. to let the temps warm up to the mid sixties. We will probably do a 6 and 1/2 mile paddle and stop for a short hike at Camp Drake Boy Scout Camp. We will put in about 3 miles south of Oakwood and eventually take out  at the confluence with the Middle Fork south of West Danville and across from Shangri La subdivision. This will be a good trip for all levels of skill in a kayak. Please let Anja and I know if you need a boat by 8AM on Sunday. Anja and I will be eating lunch or late breakfast at Rich's around 12 noon if you care to join us. Otherwise, try to be at Rich's a few minutes before 1PM so we can plan our shuttle.
