To All,      Does it ever rain earlier in the week anymore?   Doesn't seem like it.   Again we are slaves to the weather and USGS gauges. But we are tedious nonetheless.  We are watching the Middle Fork whose gauge is near Oakwood and a terrible spot if you want to run sections of river miles upstream. We need a good flow of water by morning to run this river. This one would be good for all skill levels.  Also on our watch is Big Racoon in Indiana near Bridgeton that needs to level off, of course during the night, or it may be too high.  This would be good but not for beginners.   Also on our radar is Stoney Creek near Oakwood, . a very fast flowing obstacle course of rocks and downed trees. But fun as hell. And only OK for advanced paddling skills.  So expect another e-mail tomorrow morning [Sun } at 7AM.  For our decision on where we are going.  We would also like to know around 7AM if you are interested and/or need a boat.        Thanks again for your patience.    We hope to see some of you out there.          Mike & Anja Metz
