Planning to Paddle a River Sat. June 13th but need to watch river gauges.

To All,       Due to all of the rain lately, we only have two possibilities for Saturday. They are Big Pine Creek at Attica,IN. and Stoney Creek near Oakwood,IL. Everything else is crazy high and I will not lead trips when they are this dangerous. Keep an eye out for another e-mail tomorrow [Friday ]. with instructions.  Without more rain, Big Pine should go down to a normal level, but it depends how much water is in the ground and tributaries. Stoney Creek does not have a gauge but if the Salt Fork stays around ten ft. on the gauge, it could be a possibility.  Both of these trips would exclude beginners and novices.       Hoping for a good outcome tomorrow.         Mike and Anja Metz
