وَآتُواْ النَّسَاء صَدُقَاتِهِنَّ نِحْلَةً فَإِن طِبْنَ لَكُمْ عَن شَيْءٍ مِّنْهُ نَفْسًا فَكُلُوهُ هَنِيئًا مَّرِيئًا

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়,অতি দয়ালু।
আর তোমরা স্ত্রীদেরকে তাদের মোহর দিয়ে দাও খুশীমনে। তারা যদি খুশী হয়ে তা থেকে অংশ ছেড়ে দেয়, তবে তা তোমরা স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যে ভোগ কর।

বিশেষ দ্রষ্টব্যঃ আমরা করূণাময় আল্লাহপাকের কাছে ক্ষমাপ্রার্থী ও আপনাদের সকলের কাছে আন্তরিকভাবে দুঃখ প্রকাশ করছি শেষবার অনিচ্ছাকৃত ভুলে সূরার নাম 'আল-ইমরানের' (আয়াত ৩ ও ৪) স্থলে 'সূরা নিসা' লিখার জন্য।

In the Name of Allah, The Most Merciful The Most Beneficent.
And give to the women (whom you marry) their Mahr (obligatory bridal money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage) with a good heart, but if they, of their own good pleasure, remit any part of it to you, take it, and enjoy it without fear of any harm (as Allâh has made it lawful).
