Dear Sir,

Reducing the number of Cows/ Buffaloes in the Gowshala

At present, we are having the following cattle in our Gowshala.

 

Bulls :-

          Big Size – 4 nos.

          Small Size :- 11 nos.

          Very Small Size :- 10 nos.

 

Cows :-

          Big Size ;_ 33 nos.

Small Size :- (2 years)- 13 nos. &

        (1 year) – 3 nos.

 

We are unable to maintain the cattle due to cost on their feed and maintenance. Also, we are expecting huge scarcity of water this summer.  Therefore, it is proposed to reduce the cattle by 50% in corresponding  age groups. Approval for the same is required urgently so as to reduce the cost. The matter was also discussed with CMD, Director (Finance) by Director (P&M) and the undersigned on 25 March 2012.
