Hello Everyone!
We had the
Certificates Ceremony for the 6th batch of ADC and the get together
for the earlier 5 batches on the 19th of April 2014. Though not many could make it, yet, it was a
pleasure to meet the old participants and know about the wonderful work they
are doing in the field.
We discussed the need to network with all batches, so that
we can make the most of the wonderful ‘army’ of counselors we have.
I would like that all of us know what others are doing; post
vacancies, share information, and just connect.
We can make a common platform to communicate- some of you suggested
facebook, whats app etc. I welcome your suggestions regarding the same. The
idea is to have a platform where information on each one’s work can be seen by
all batches. A platform where Prafulta can also share about its work like
workshops, courses etc. This information will also help Prafulta refer clients,
workshops and vacancies to you if we know your current details of place, area
of work.
I look forward to your suggestions.
I am sending a few pics taken on the 19th.

Thank you Shalu for taking the time to share the pictures and
thoughts with us. All of you look lovely. Congrats to the ones who got their
certificates ‘welcome to the army’. Some warm memories flash across my mind of
our time. I like the thought of staying connected & yes the facebook group
could be created & sounds good to. The Prafulta facebook page (wall) does
not seem to be used to the fullest to post stuff. Maybe in the ‘group’ we would
feel more forth coming. (although one needs to update the same regularly).
I felt bad I could not attend the program.
