Welcome,

My name is Darwin R. Boor, MD. I am a neurologist in Greenville, SC.
I am a new PF user. While trying to implement PF I ran into a number
of barries:

1. There was no effective means for PF users to communicate between
themselves. This site fixes that issue.

2. There was no PF template repository for me to draw on to get my
EMR up and running. I asked PF for help.
When it was clear that they could not help me, I started a PFUser
wiki to act as a template repository outside
of PF and to give us a place to share hints regarding the use of
PF. That wiki is currently housed at:

http://www.wikihost.org/w/practicefusionusers

Please be sure to check it out.

3. Template entry under PF was slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I scoured PF
Answers, did a little on the side
programming and came up with some good fixes. Many are posted on
the PF Uses wiki (referenced above).

4. To really speed up the process of template entry we need a
template import and export function in PF that will
export PF templates to formated WORD files and will import those
same templates into PF.

Please vote to have PF implement template export/import functions
immediately.

To enter your vote:

Log on to PF.
Go to PF Answers.
Search for “Can we have a template import export feature?”
Enter a reply letting PF know if you feel this is a priority
request.

"My kingdom for a carriage return"
Darwin, I would be happy if they gave us simple formatting tools ie !! For a line. ** for a paragraph etc. To ask for Word would mean they would have to pay astronomical royalties to MS
It would be wonderful if they had delimiting characters. Ie ## title of a template. "" A template item. This would make sharing templates much simpler instead of having to cut and paste each template item one by one
