I'm going to try the recipe for ribs that was on the video with the
gorgeous lady cook. Splash ribs with vinegar then apply black pepper,
garlic powder and a seasoned salt.

Lawry's seasoned salt has been the traditional seasoned salt in my
background. There is a newer seasoned salt called "Sylvia's Soulful
Seasoning". Which I used to be able to find when I lived in Indiana
and hope to find here in the Carolina's.

Also, going to do the ribs the hard way, directly over coals and
mopping. Typical mop being half water, half vinegar with seasoned
salt added.

OK, now it's Sunday morning and I'm going to beat the summer by
cooking this morning in the shade of a tree. I brushed the Rib Tips
down with clear vinegar, sprinkled with my personal rub as well as an
extra dash of onion powder and celery salt. Have ready 3/4 cup of
water to 3/4 cup of clear vinegar with 1 Tablespoon of my personal
rub, 1 Tablespoon prepared yellow mustard and 1 Tablespoon of honey,
an interesting combination, an idea I got from a friend of mine who
refused to give me his recipe for his personal mop. He had a half
gallon pitcher of orange juice looking concoction, called it his, I
did get this much, it was water, no vinegar, prepared yellow mustard,
Sylvia's Seasoned Salt, and honey, he never would give me exact
recipe. But his rib were tasty!

Posted pic of my rib tips done today, a little black on outside, (he,
he) but moist and tender inside. First time in years that I cooked
directly over coals so I'm happy with them.
