CodeFreeze 2013 is open for registration: http://www.msse.umn.edu/events/Code-Freeze-2013-Software-Anthropology

This year the theme is Software Anthropology and we are going to look at ways to better include end users in design. We will also look at how we can better work to understand people’s perspectives and needs in general, as a step towards creating better environments to produce better software products that truly matter.

There will be a collection of speakers surrounding interactive sessions and lunch from  D’Amico.

You be hard pressed to find a better investment of $95

Join us and help us explorer the human side of software product creation.

Code Freeze completely exceeded my expectations!  The topic of Software Anthropology was inspired.  I can hardly pay attention at work today because my brain is still spinning on many of the discussions and presentations yesterday.  It is always great to reconnect with friends, colleagues and classmates as well.  Thank you so much for putting together a great conference!

Will notice and URLs be sent out when the presenters' slidedecks are uploaded?

Have heard the same reactions from folks who attended from BestBuy. They loved it. Discussions are afoot at BBY to develop a shared understanding and move forward with some ideas.
