I used to be able to access (and other people on other networks) my site by entering my IP address in the browser, but after I formatted, and installed Abyss web server again, this does not work anymore.

From your comment it sounds like you have a private IP address, which means you are probably behind a NAT firewall. This is what allows many computers to connect to the internet using a single IP address, for example on a home network.

Get your friends to ping that address. If it works, then get them to try connecting to the same address using a browser. If that doesn't work, it's almost surely a NAT issue; you will need to configure port forwarding on whatever device (router, firewall) is stopping the traffic.

I have installed abyss web server on my computer and I can access the the webserver in localhost. When I try to access the web server from another computer, typing my external ip I can't. What can I do? I've already tried to change the port from 80 to 8080 and to 8000, but it didn't work.

You haven't told us much about you network setup but I think I can narrow this down to two likely problems. You either aren't forwarding your webserver port through your router correctly or you have a firewall blocking it. The easiest way to determine which it is is to disable any firewall you have running and try again. If that doesn't work then try from an internal IP.

as krowe said, if by "another computer" you're talking about a computer in a different network, then you need to make sure you have the appropriate port forwards in place, and make sure you have no firewalls blocking it.

It may happen that these two scenarios are happening simultaneously. See if a computer in your network can access the server or not - if it can, the first scenario is not happening; if it can't, the first scenario is happening.

In Abyss Web Server, in the interpreters section, I browsed to above path to have that added, then followed instructions from the Aprelium website to add python.I had it working, then on another occasion it failed. But I went through the process of setting it up in Abyss web server and it started working again.

I followed all the instructions found on their website exactly, but when trying to access it afterwards, it just gives a 403 error. When switching back to http, there are no problems - I can access the site perfectly fine. And the only thing I'm changing when switching from https to http is the dropdown box that says protocol (see the image below) then restarting the server.

Cloudflare provides some encryption by themselves, however this is just between the user agent and the Cloudflare servers - there is none between Cloudflare and the origin server. I want end-to-end encryption.

Could it be some rule on my computer that I'm unaware of? It's a serverside issue I think, not anything to do with cloudflare. The documents path htdocs/ has never changed and is not in a position that requires elevated permissions to access on my computer. Like I said before - when I switch back to http on port 80, everything works fine. I don't change anything else.

i have noticed that some times my drones get stuck orbiting around me instead of returning to drone bay, in abyss sites. note sure why, have gone thru the gate a couple times and lost drones because of this. when i do notice it, have to get them to attack something then try to recall again for them to return. pain in the ass

On Windows you can run winget install -e --id Docker.DockerDesktop to get it. Learn more about winget here. The Docker Desktop app is useful for starting/stopping your server and viewing logs, have a look through it later!

The dev image comes with Keepup, our tool for managing plugins. It will automatically download our latest plugin config file to keepup/mineinabyss.conf and merge it with keepup/local.conf. You can inherit plugins from mineinabyss in local.conf as follows:

Abyss is a dimension accessible from the Crossroads server. To enter the abyss, one must wait for an Abyssling to spawn from the abyss portal (or for a radiant object to touch the gate), which will open the gates for 5 seconds allowing players to get in the Abyss. The time it takes for it to...

I can say the Level 1 radiant shapes are just as common as normal shapes in the main server, the Luminous shapes are same as radiant shapes in crossroads, highly radiant shapes are as common as radiant shapes in the normal server.
