Weknow that all actions are judged based on their intentions. But did you know that you can earn rewards by doing your normal day-to-day activities if you simply structure your intention? Awesome? I know!

Another example is tidying up your study area. When you do it just for the sake of doing it, or because you feel like you have to, it feels draining. But what if you change your perspective and view it as you being clean because it is sunnah to be clean and purify yourself and your space.

The morning time is the most serene time of the day. The atmosphere is calm and quiet. Time feels slow and enjoyable. You can hear the beautiful sound of the birds. Most importantly, it is filled with immense blessings.

Have you engaged in any productive activity after Fajr before? Did you notice how easy it was for you to do so? That is the time that your brain is fresh and recharged. And because of the blessings that Allah has placed in the morning time, everything done within it is blessed and therefore, holds more significance than the same activity done at any other time.

Prayer helps us balance our deen and dunya. No matter how busy we could get with school, our five daily prayers would always come to remind us of our main purpose and remind us of our creator. By praying, we are acknowledging that Allah is the One Who grants us success. It is He Who grants us the health, mental and physical strength to school and study. Our success in tests and exams will ultimately come from Him SWT.

Dhikr provides us with spiritual nourishment that enables us to remember Allah and His blessings. Dhikr keeps away Shaytan and relieves our minds from anxiety and worries. It also makes us more positive and strengthens our mind so that we can proactively work towards a better place in the hereafter. Many students wonder how they can incorporate dhikr into their busy lifestyles while balancing school and other responsibilities.

Dedicate 15 minutes for dhikr after salah (prayers), perform dhikr whilst doing your daily tasks like walking to class, cleaning your room, doing your laundry, etc. This would help you to stay grounded in your deen while in school.
