I'm thinking of building up a huge package of 3D graphics wrappers somewhere with previous-current revisions, if you want to help. The early Glide wrappers have basically vanished from the Internet (well, they were harassed by 3dfx at the time...). I definitely have some oddities already.
There's also some other software OpenGL drivers, like TinyGL and TinySDGL, and the TinyGL fork in ResidualVM. Sadly they aren't in dynamically-loaded DLL form. *coughcough*someoneshouldmakethem*cough*
Yes, if it's possible, someone should do that. I was also looking at some other things which should be built from source, and others for which people should check out the source at various tags to make source packages. I'll make a list
Against:
Basically just looking to collect packages that redirect one DLL to another with regards to graphics. Calling VBE/VESA isn't calling a DLL. Also, SolVBE isn't as "in danger of dropping off the 'Net" as the early Glide wrappers and some of these other projects (TitaniumGL's hosting has always seemed sketchy, so it "makes sense" to back it up.)
Well, again, most DOSBox historical builds have been pretty well backed up by everybody... And GliDOS didn't originally include "VDM replacements" like VDos32 or emulators like DOSBox. Perhaps I need more convincing...
Well, it's not in its "final form" yet, but no, there's no issue. Anything of mine potentially problematic was removed. I'll tell you via PM.
(Maybe I should remove the swiftshader demo-removal hack? IDK)
