Please check your calenders to see if you agree with the dates. If you want to change something or have any questions please reply back. If you're okay with everything, Reply saying you're good with everything. I want all the paperwork for the events completed by the first week of school.

August 28 - First Day of School / SGO Movie on the Quad Evening

September 2 - Labor Day College Closed

Sept 4-6 - No classes

Sept 10 - Open House Common hrs

Sept 12 - Game Night Evening

Sept 19 - Welcome Back / Family Dinner Evening - i added this because sept was EMPTY

Sept 26 - Salsa, Bachata, Merenge workshop Evening. I added this for the reason listed above. If this date is definite we need to agree on it ASAP. The dance instructor i have in mind is Salsa David from SLB. So let me know so i can get in contact with him.

October 1 (or the 8th)- Club meeting Common Hrs

October 14- Colombus Day CC

October 15- Day of Dignity Common hrs -- We need to talk to HASA and maybe even more clubs to join us. we also need to fill out paper work to get permission for it. This is an event that is expected so it really wont take long

October 24 (or the 29th)- Scary Movie Night Evening - We need to decide on 3 movies for the members attending can vote on it. We also need to invest on one of those USBs to get Internet connection.

Oct 29- Club meeting common hrs

October 31- Halloween Party evening - we need to make this a huge collaboration if possible. So we need to start getting in contact with a bunch of clubs asap

November 5- Dia de los muertos evening - i already mentioned it to Cesar and hes cool with helping us out. We need to gather all our mexicans to help us out ya'lllllll

November 7 (or the 19th) - Club Meeting - Common Hours

November 11-15 - PR Week - we need to have a clear idea of whats happening and set up asap (late september the latest)

November 21- Love @ First Buy- Evening Planning starts early October 

November 26 - Thanksgiving Dinner- Evening 

November 28-Dec 1- Thanksgiving Vaca

Dec 3 Club meeting Common hrs

December 12 (or the 10th)- Angelitos

Dec 16 - Reading Day 

Dec 17-23- Finals week

All days are fine with me. The only thing is since I work in CitiField they don't tell me the days I can work until like a week before the actual day, so that's the only issue.

Either way the baseball season ends in late September and the Mets suck so they won't be making the playoffs so I'll be done with work completely once the season is over.

Other than that, I'm down for all the events.

Okay that's fine. There are a few dates that have "alternatives". I would also like you guys to vote on a day. We can do that here or in person on Wednesday

I like the schedule.  The collaborations for the Hallowen party should be very easy to do.  Mario and I already talked to a few clubs about collaborations for this semester. 

I know a woman who can give a presentation or lecture at an event.  She works with Afro-Latinos and is a writer.  I talked with her yesterday and she said that she will send me a proposal.  I will talk to you more about that later. 

I am very excited for this year!!
