Engines get disabled

Dear PR2 users,

Hope you are doing well.

We have problems when moving the PR2 robot either by joystick or by
commands. No more than 1 minute after the robot starts moving, it stops
(in the same way as if the stop button of the controller module was
pressed). Based on this, we thought that the problem could be due to the
controller module batteries. However, we replaced them but the problem
was not solved.

Any idea or suggestion to address this problem?

Sorry to take so long to respond, are you running rqt_pr2_dashboard? are there any hardware warnings that happen when this occurs?

It is good to hear that you solved the issue.

I thought it was caused by slip ring of the casters, but was it reason?

If possible, we want to share how you repair your PR2 and solve the issue.
