I wanted to share some information regarding our recent work on the PR1012 battery board at the JSK Robotics Laboratory.
Previously, we encountered an issue where we accidentally burned a single battery board of the PR1012.
To address this, I am collaborating with Naoya Yamaguchi, a doctoral student, to modify and stack the Likeabird BMS board to work with BMS-compatible batteries.

You can find more details about the Likeabird BMS board at the following URL:
https://likeabird.eu/power-bms/

We are currently using the original Ocean Server battery. However, as mentioned on page 29 of the following document, creating an 8-pin Molex connector allows the use of other smart batteries:
https://likeabird.eu/wp-content/uploads/bsk-pdf-manager/2021/10/DSBMS_Quick-Guide_v1.4.pdf

When using other batteries, it should be possible to use the original PR2 battery charging board.
You should be able to use a 4s smart battery that can communicate via SBUS from the manufacturer introduced on page 34 of the URL mentioned above.

I hope this information is helpful to you. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out.
