checkstyle is activated: checkstyle is configured in library_parent_pom.

Note that checkstyle is not yet 1.5 compliant as maven does not support it
yet
checkstyle existing standard also seems a bit outdated.

lowering priority to medium, because checkstyle must still be adapted, or
source files must be altered to adhere
to the style. Nonetheless, there is checkstyle
