Aloha and thank you for registering to attend tonight's Community Town Hall meeting provided by the Governor's ESSA Team.   Tonight's meeting will be held at:

WHERE:      Kalani High School Cafeteria, 4680 Kalanianaole Highway, Honolulu, HI 96821

WHEN:         6:00 to 8:00 pm

WHO:           Everyone is invited who is interested in and cares about public education in Hawaii - students, parents, teachers, principals, staff members, state and district leaders, community members, legislators, and all others

The purpose of tonight's town hall meeting is to deepen our understanding of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and to collect input, feedback, and suggestions for a new blueprint for the future of public education in Hawaii.   This meeting will build on the all of the input from (1) ESSA Team briefings, (2) the Hawaii Education Summit held on July 9, 2016, and (3) the town hall meeting held at Kapolei High School on July 27, 2016.

Attached is a draft of the preliminary design ideas for the blueprint.  If you would like to provide online input and feedback to the design ideas, please go to the following website to do so.
