It's all in the terminology... A very good take on TDD shortcomings and how to correct them: http://behaviour-driven.org/Introduction

That was a good article and I agree with what they are saying in terms
of tests making the behaviour and relations within a system jump out
of the page so you spot unnecessary dependencies and coupling before
you've gone so deep there's no turning back. But not sure I'll be
calling it BDD quite yet, it's a bit like me fixing a small bug on
someones source code, then putting my name next to the whole app.

Sure, programming community is just so fond of "claiming a term" I guess... I think all started with AJAX and Web 2.0.

The xDD family is quite large already: TDD, BDD, FDD, DDD and the greatest of them all EDD: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/altdotnet/message/2040

I'll claim one now and start building my software using MDD: Miika Driven Development :)

Couple of mailing lists around the xDD:

http://groups.google.com/group/Test-Driven-Development
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/testdrivendevelopment/
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/agile-testing/
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/domaindrivendesign/

Don't know about the quality, just joined...
