What do we do when we have completed round one with GoF patterns?
Some ideas:
1. Go through the patterns again, probably selecting some of them to
be rushed (singleton, factory method, etc simple patterns for example)
2. Other patterns not covered by GoF: There's plenty in wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Design_pattern_%28computer_science%29,
also Inversion of Control (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Inversion_of_control) and Fowlers enterprise patterns (http://
martinfowler.com/eaaCatalog/)
3. Other things? Methodologies (xp+agile, TDD), principles and
practices (for example going through a book like
http://www.amazon.com/Pragmatic-Programmer-Journeyman-Master/dp/020161622X)
4. If we try to find new people to the group it could be useful to
have even 2 weekly meeting times: one group would go through patterns
again and another continue forward?
