All,
Below is version 2.0 of the Spring agenda. As you all are aware,
there have been several comments suggesting that perhaps site reports
were something we only did when we were young and foolish. If there
are no voices raised in their support, I'll bow to the inevitable.
Instead, I'm tentatively proposing to use Monday afternoon for two
round table discussions, one on security and one on VPNs. Since
these topics have a certain amount of overlap, I would hope folks
would find this to be better use of time (if there is a silent group
who would have liked site reports, now is the time to speak up so I
can schedule both).
Also note that although the early part of the week (technology)
seems to be filling out nicely, I've had almost no requests for time
from any of the middleware or applications working groups. I realize
the timing is awkward. Many groups are putting the finishing touches
on NGI proposals, which won't have been reviewed by the time of this
meeting. I'll assume the silence is in large part a result of this
fact, and not because of any lack of interest in NGI applications.
At the moment, as you see, the meeting is scheduled to end on
Thursday.

Bill
