Khoa-
Thanks for checking with your road crew manager on the mowing status of Palomar Park.
Attached are some pictures of the entrance to Palomar Park, (Palomar Dr.) more pictures located farther up Palomar Dr., and South Palomar. These sites are ALL County maintained roads. There are more sections that need mowing but I don’t think I have enough
email memory to send you every site that needs mowing, and likely shouldn’t have to as the road crews can clearly find the sections that need to be mowed on their own as this is their job, and Palomar Park is really just a short loop.
The dry grass at the entrance to Palomar park, as you turn left from Scenic, is almost waist high as you can see in the picture. I’m not sure how the crews missed any of these sites if they were there just 2 weeks ago.
Please send crews back before July 4th. Authorities don’t seem to be enforcing the no fireworks ordinance in this area and every night there is a barrage of illegal firework activity near Clifford School.
Thanks for your assistance Denise Enea
Thanks Denise.
I just checked with our Road Maintenance Manager and the annual mowing activities have been completed on the Bay Side and the Palomar Park area was done just a few weeks ago.
If there are county-maintained roads that you think were missed, please send me pics and let me know the name of these roads.
Thanks,
Khoa.
