All - Given that Julio is apparently try unavailable (certainly non-responsive), might it be appropriate to seek the swerves of someone else to rep[air the signboard at the Y? H\I believe that having that signboard, especially given its prominent location, in such obvious disrepair sands a clear message to all the Palomar Park residents and to visitors alike, that we are a community of lacks standards. With the upcoming national holiday fast approaching, I’m concerned that awaiting Julio’s resurfacing is not the way the community would expect the board to react to such an unsightly issue.
I realize that Julio is a favorite among members of the board. We have used him in the past on our own property and in our business and, as a result , we no longer seek his services. My recent experience with him on the flag holder project has me in pursuit of him to complete one element he overlooked and to repair two elements that have subsequently failed. In my opinion, dependability is not his strength. But, if he were available I would certainly be amenable to him undertaking the signboard replacement project under Jeff’s direct supervision. Given that he is not available or apparently even responsive, it would seem appropriate to address the signboard repair though someone else more readily available even if the cost was somewhat greater than the quote from Julio.

Bob,
Julio is out of town but is expected back soon. I know he will be able to get this done, although it may take another week or so. If you would like to get pricing from someone else, please proceed. I have had nothing but good experiences with him.

Dear Chair B and Fellow board members,
