At the first instalment of the 'Surveillance' film and discussion
series, one of our guests was part of the group who co-ordinated the
recent rally against the GCSB Bill in the the Octagon. She informed us
that another anti-spying event is planned for this Friday, beginning
in the Octagon at 5pm.
To support this, we we have postponed our second 'Surveillance'
screening of 'We Live in Public' until Friday 23 August. If you are
intending to come, please RSVP, because it there is strong interest,
we may need to arrange a larger screening venue than the Otago Room.
Included below are the details about the public meeting on Friday.
