- Daniel Bertinshaw
Hi Daniel, this may also be of interest to you or the PPNZ. The presenter (Rick Shera) is active in the Internet Society and NetSafe – probably you have heard him already. I’d guess him to be carrying a similar message to the Internet Society’s position regarding the TPP, see http://internetnz.net.nz/news/media-releases/2012/InternetNZ-speaks-copyright-issues-Dallas-TPP-discussions....
Cheers,
Clark

Topic: TPPA: Much more than a trade agreement
The Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement is being negotiated between nine Asia Pacific countries - Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Malaysia, Peru, Singapore, the United States, Viet Nam and New Zealand. Japan, Canada and Mexico are waiting in the wings to join too and the golden prize ultimately is said to be China. The pace of negotiation is increasing with a view to having the agreement entered into early next year. So, what would it mean for New Zealand IT, intellectual property and information security domain?
