QB sum; all equals in Bandwidth?

Hi listers,

Find here the "final" review on QB as internet provider for office use; if you followed the previous
threads on this list and on BarCam, then you won't find much news:

I sure noticed the "performance" of Andrew getting an iso in 4 hours over ftp - that's what I was
looking at. By word-of-mouth (un-trustable source) I heard that "offenders" (read: downloading
people) are being "tackled" (yes, as in rugby) and prevented from "stealing bandwidth". (?)

"All subscriptions are for individual use only and download of more
than 1.5 GB per month might be seen as exceeding individual usage".

Pure phone-line based DSL, so won't help me.

I paid something like 50 USD to get a phone line connection. Within 3
days up and running.
