Sounds like my wording was poor. I was in no way suggesting that Box Office was not an appropriate venue--I was just agreeing that it was rather small. Good food, good beer, and Paul, his girlfriend, and Sonaly are all good people.

I just happened to be talking to a Web designer named Lee a couple of days ago who was interested in crypto currencies and possible future developments using the same model, so I was curious if it was him or if there was yet another person around with the same interest. My main interest along those lines are in kicking myself for not buying $100 worth of bitcoins when I briefly thought about it in 2010 when they were trading at something like 7 cents each.

Box Office is a great place, but really small. I wish I could join you guys
but this week is out for me. Is the friend who is into crypto currency
named Lee, by any chance?

Hi!

Well considering the mail volume on this list recently I think we'll
fit. They have a upstairs as well in case we outgrow the place. And even
better, we'd be open for other suggestions ;-)

I think the social meetups could also happen regularly since the
technical ones didn't seem to really work last year. Let's see how it
goes but we can definitely make another one in July when Norbert is coming.

And to the last question, no the friend into crypto is not Lee. So if
there are more people interested maybe we could get an expert
(definitely not me) to speak into more details about the topic. On our
side we're more like learning "all together" since we don't seem to have
any guru around.

So maybe see you next month then!

Thanks

Fred
