Hey Brad,

Long time, no see. I just asked someone (Reuben, maybe) the other day if you were still around. I also moved across the river, but much further south in Chbar Ampov. I'd love to meet up with you guys in theory, but with my schedule and 4 kids, I know that the reality is that I'd rarely if ever make it to a meeting, just as before. The one time I did go--at Freebird if I remember right--nobody else showed up. I settled on Mint Cinnamon at home several years ago and have seen no reason to change. I've had the same setup for years and except for not being able to get USB audio to work, which I admittedly have only spent 30 minutes trying, I have little need to really delve into Linux internals these days, as I've also moved from working on Laravel VPS-based sites at work to WordPress sites on managed hosts. Still, always nice to learn to learn new things.

Best Regards,
Walter

Hi!

Still living in Phnom Penh and missing the presentations, discussions
and other things we did druing PHnom Penh LUG meetings.

I was wondering if you were still in town, what had happened to you
since and whether anyone was interested to try meeting up again?

Looking forward to reading from you, even if you left town. :-)

Thank you.

Hello - since 2013 on a pepper farm in the countryside of the Kep province - quite isolated from Phnom Penh.

And you?

Greetings

Norbert

Wow, it's been a long time!

Still in Phnom Penh. Based out of Prek Leap National Institute of
Agriculture which is on the banks of the Mekong about 8 km past the
Japanese bridge.
We're in the process of building an Agricultural AI Research Lab at the
school.

After trying to move to GUIX for a year, I finally threw in the admitted
defeat (it's not even close to being production ready) and am back on
Debian both for servers and the desktop.

I'd be very interested in meeting up again.

Gee... that's like the opposite direction from Brad's location! Well
maybe we can combine a kid outing and a meeting nearby?

Let's see.
