Hello,

We are looking for help on translation of Sugar and some of the Sugar
activities into Khmer. As you can see from the stats at
https://dev.laptop.org/translate/km/, some work is already done, but
we would definitely like to see a greater level of support before
deployment begins.
A primer to our translation system is at
http://dev.laptop.org/~sayamindu/pootleforxo2.pdf, and you may always
contact me at saya...@laptop.org in case you need any assistance in
getting started or during translation.

Thank you,
Sayamindu

Greetings,

Unfortunately I am unable to help with translations, but I would like to
bring another Open Source CRM package to your attention, vtigerCRM.

VtigerCRM was forked from the SugarCRM code a few years ago over some
licensing dispute, and claims to be a 'real open source CRM'.

The main differences that I have noticed between SugarCRM and VtigerCRM
is that Sugar has some interesting features for email marketing - such
as URL's that track responses and provide automatic 'opt out' features
for mailing lists.

On the other hand, Vtiger has a range of inventory and sales management
features, such as sales and purchase orders, quotes, invoices, product
inventory and so forth.

Vtiger also has free plugins for Office, Firefox and Thunderbird,
Sugar's Office plugin is a commercial product.

I have started to compare the two and am slowly getting the results up
at
http://www.robertson.net.nz/software/office-business-systems/customer-relationship-management

Also, I have not yet looked to see if plugins for inventory and sales
are available for Sugar.

One good thing about them is that they both have pretty good import and
export modules, so moving your client data from one to the other is
fairly easy, should you choose to switch.
