Hi!
Well thank you for the detailed answer. You know I'm a GNOME and Fedora
user so I would never miss an opportunity to shamelessly promote them ;-)
Missing the DVD's might be a problem if we have a lot of people. At the
same time they can also just download the ISO and burn it to a USB stick
if they really want to install it. From the last InstallFest we did it
didn't seem people were so much into Fedora though :-/ but showcasing
the great new features, GNOME and more is surely a great way to
encourage people to take a first step at trying Fedora.
Now I don't want to give you extra load of work and force something that
maybe only you and me are interested in ;-)
I also remember the Fedora community had a few key members in Phnom Penh
so maybe we can just run something informal just to hang out together,
either during SFD or at another time. Did FUDCON generate new Fedora
users? Maybe that also could be a good follow event for them (either SFD
or the release party)?
Well I prefer to let you decide what to do as running FUDCON was
probably intense and you have a better idea of the local Fedora community.
Thank you.
