PPLUG mailing list is moving and...

Hi!

I no longer can access this Google Group as my email needs confirmation
using a SMS which I never receive due to unknown problems (in red..
forgot the exact wording - seems to be a common issue on Google Groups
according to google searches).

So I've registered a new mailing list on riseup.net (tried to install
something on shared hosting with Cpanel but nothing actively maintained
exists).

As I cannot retrieve our members list or do anything at all can someone
email me the members list as it should be available to anyone
subscribed. This way everyone will be automatically moved to the new list.

Fred, Perhaps we could move to discord instead of mailing-list?

I see new contributors more comfortable using discord these days.

ok, good topic? ;-)

I have issues with Discord itself, not my thing to stay on all day and
have no easy way to track discussions. Besides it's a non-free software
which we shouldn't use to promote Free Software.

That being said we are a group of free people and anyone is welcome to
contribute the way they feel appropriate. If anything happens please let
me know and I'll update the website.

In the meantime ... the list is moving so we'll have that as well.

Email is still best for me.  Nothing against Discord, but it's something that you have to actively go to and check.  Which is not great for very low volume lists like PPLUG.
