Hi Erick and Johanna,
I've run into the same problem.
Johanna - it is possible to download a previous version of GSL (1.16 -
https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gsl/) which can then be compiled and installed, which pplacer will then take advantage of.
Erick - I was wondering if it's possible to direct pplacer (and guppy and rppr) to use GSL within a conda environment? I have created an environment where I've installed all dependencies including GSL 1.16, added them to my path, however, pplacer still directs to GSL (libgsl.0.dylib) within /usr. Is there any way to redirect where pplacer looks for GSL?
If not I am fine with installing GSL 1.16 outside of the virtual environment. Thank you in advance for any information.
Chris
