Dear Researchers,

We are thrilled to share an exciting update about the upcoming editions of VL/HCC 2024, collocated with the Psychology of Programming Interest Group (PPIG), which will be held from September 2nd to 6th at the University of Liverpool, UK.

It is our great pleasure to announce that Dr. Daniel Chávez Heras, a distinguished lecturer in Digital Culture and Creative Computing at King's College London, will be the joint keynote speaker at our event.

Dr. Chávez will present a keynote titled "Computational Ekphrasis - Reflections on Generative Modes of Cultural Production." This talk will explore the intersection of AI, visual culture, and language, examining how generative systems reshape our understanding and creation of visual media. This is a unique opportunity to gain insights into how contemporary AI technologies are influencing the digital humanities and beyond.

Please mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details about the conference schedule and registration information.

We also have upcoming deadlines for the Journal-First track (June 4th)Posters & Showpieces track (June 25th), and Workshops & Tutorials (June 25th) for VL/HCC, and Reflections, artworks, and demos (June 14th) for PPIG. Please visit the respective websites to see more details and submit your amazing work!

Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm for VL/HCC and PPIG. We are excited to welcome you to what promises to be an enlightening and engaging conference.
