We are excited to invite you to participate in the VL/HCC 2024 workshop on “Addressing Challenges in Recruiting Participants for Human-Centric Computing Research Studies,” taking place on September 2, 2024, in Liverpool, UK.

Are you interested in innovative strategies for recruiting participants for HCC research? Do you have experiences, whether positive or challenging, in designing, running, analyzing, or reporting HCC studies? Join us and share your insights!

Topics Include:

• Effective recruitment of industry, end-user, and student participants
• Crowdsourcing for studies
• Using generative AI as participants or for data processing
• Overcoming recruitment challenges (number, diversity, engagement)
• Data capturing and analysis in surveys, interviews, focus groups, and observations
• Experiences with online or hybrid HCC studies
