"Could not run microsoft powerpoint.
Please ensure that it is installed and working.
Note that Powerpoint 2000 or later is required,

This COM object can not automate the makepy process - please run makepy manually for this object,"

Hi

That error is very strange.

What version of Windows? Is it a full Microsoft Office installation?
Is there anything unusual about your PC. Do you have a restricted
access account. Do you have an IT dept you may have customised you
windows?

I suggest

1) make sure PowerTalk is full installed - sounds like it is
2) make sure you have installed the latest PowerTalk -
http://fullmeasure.co.uk/powertalk/#downloads
3) Uninstall and re install powertalk
4) Clean up all temporary files, or better run a clean up utility

Hopefully one of these will help
