Undefined External Error after editing

hey, all! i'm having a problem with the playback in PTE. it seems that whenever i make changes to a tab, i can't play it back afterwards. it gives me the error "Undefined External Error" and if i try to hit the playback button a second time, it says "The MIDI stream is unavailable. Restart the program." anyone know what that's about? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling PowerTab.

i've tried that. still nothing. any other suggestions?
