Hello.  First off, I am learning how to use this program.  i find it awesome and very helpful in my musical endeavors.  Thanks to the creators.  I trying to write notation in bass and find that each time I elect the tab number, I get a note on the score that is one octave higher than what I expect.  For instance, when I pick the D on the fifth fret of the A string, the note I get is the D just above middle C.  I am looking for the D an octave lower.  I am sure there is a simple method to do this but I am frustrating myself trying to find it.  I will appreciate ANY help on this.

Thank you very much

My guess is that you are probably working from the Guitar Score and not the Bass Score. Power Tab defaults to the Guitar Score when it starts up. Type F3 to switch to the Bass Score.
