wxwidgets 2.8.2 compatability

I am trying to get this thing to compile, but am constrained to v2.8.2
of wxwidgets.
Can anyone help out?
I am using parser 1.1.2 but under wxDevcpp but I get about 300 errors
and a bunch of warnings.

Hi,

Never used wxDevcpp before. I'll try installing it tonight on a
virtual machine and see if I can get things working.

I followed the Tutorial called "Setting Up wxDev-C++ for compiling
with Visual C++ 2005" and everything ran fine for me.
