Community updates and feedback solicitation

One of the sessions that we had planned for day-1 was getting updates from the community of progress made since the last seminar. Since we did not get time to cover this yesterday, we can kickstart our day with this discussion. Some speakers are already lined up, but please do not hesitate to reach out (email/in-person) if you'd like to present some updates as well. 

The main purpose of this session is to give updates and solicit feedback. The topics could include anywhere from site-level deployments of power management techniques to low-level libraries for accessing power/energy monitor/control knobs.
