Importing column descriptions and table descriptions

New to this board. So Hi to all.
I have reverse engineered a database to a PDM. Some one else will provide
the table and column descriptions. Is there any way for him to write it into
a text file ( or any other file ) and I can import the descriptions in so
that they stick to the correct table and column names.
I have to then produce a report using these descriptions.
