Anybody knows if the next release of PD (10?) will make ...
- C# reverse engineering?
- Easy (WYSIWYG) edition of table layouts in reports?

Thanks,

Néstor.

I think that there should be a beta for the next version (PowerDesigner 10?)
starting very soon. The latest PowerDesigner Blueprint has an article about
V10. You should be able to find it on the Sybase web site.

About C#:
PowerDesigner has been able to generate languages part of the Microsoft .NET
environment, but not reverse engineer them. With PowerDesigner "Athena",
PowerDesigner will be able to reverse engineer C# and VB.NET. This facility
will then allow users to modify C# and VB.NET code in the Preview window,
and provide roundtrip engineering for these specific .NET languages to the
same level that Java developers have enjoyed from PowerDesigner in the
recent releases.

I don't see anything about the Report editor. Please join me in submitting
as many cases as you can with report editor problems. Specifically:

- WYSIWYG

- Wizard for simple reports

- More stock templates

- Separate HTML verses paper editors
