I wan't to convert a datetime string which is in Regional Settings Format
i.e "2000-12-24 12:00:21" or "12242000 12.00.21" to a Powerbuilder datetime.

Anyone who has the magic code ?

PowerBuilder is being totally ignorant, according regional setting,
resulting the the following code just doesn't work
MessageBox ( "" , String(DATETIME( DATE(ls_External_Modified),
TIME(ls_External_Modified) )))

Am I totally wrong here ?

It works fine for us. Are you sure the string format is the same as the
Windows setting format?

Using the PB function Date(string) is dangerous since the parsing of
the string (especially the month value) is based on the regional
settings. Can you use the Date(year, month, day) function instead?
