clob/ blob update

I am connected from PB.6.5 to Oracle 8 through the Oracle 8.0.4, 8.0.5 drivers
Strange problem happen when I do update of clob Oracle column. For some reason
club column update ignored [ update code executed but nothing happen] on XP
machine, but work fine on Windows 2000 [ could be just coincidence] Weird part
what application reads contents of clob on both machines successfully. Does
anybody have idea what might cause that to happen ? Thank You very much for any

Both PB6.5 and Oracle 8.0 are not supported on XP. For Oracle you need at
least 817 client to work succesfully on XP.
