Using PowerBuilder 7.0.2C3 I successfully issue a PostURL and obtain my
results in a internetresult object. The CGI is returning a .GIF that I need
to save to a database being accessed by the PowerBuilder application. I
cannot seem to get the image - only the html source giving the name of the
gif. Is there a way to get the actual image blob through PowerBuilder?

I think you mean GetURL (Post goes up to the Server, Get Brings it down.)

In HTTP each object requires a seperate request. A browser will get the
HTML page and then open a new thread to get each of the referred to
resources. There are ways of using MIME to do multipart forms and other
slick and fancy stuff.

I would recommend getting a tool Socket Workbench
http://www.sigmasolutions.com.au so you can see what is being sent back and
forth between Browser and Server.
