What build of PB7. Try performing a full rebuild (Design | Full Rebuild from the library painter menu) instead of building a single PBL.

When I try to rebuild my pbl file on my machine I get the following IPF:

I tried shutting down all other progs and that made no difference, compiling other libraries does not work as well. If I compile the library on another machine it works fine. This just started occurring all of a sudden???

PLEASE HELP!!!

TIA,
William Pratt

Can you invoke PowerBuilder in a normal fashion and open the PBL containing the application object ( __not__ by double-clicking a PBL?)

Does your app have multiple PBLs? Verify your library list.

I have C3 8046, I tried this and it doesn't work. If I try to open powerbuilder by dc'ing the pbl it tells me that the pbl was created in a previous version and must be migrated which is crazy because I have always had 7.0??

When I have this problem, this is what I do.
First optimize the pbl using the menu option in the lib painter.
If still a problem, create a new pbl, copy all the object to the new pbl, delete the old pbl and rename the new one.
If this does not work, ask your self if there an object missing that are being referenced in one of the other objects?

Good luck

OK on PB 6.5.1 we somtimes have as similar problem
it seems to be the pb.ini-file.

What we do is:

save the library-list of all your aplikations first.

open the pb.ini - file and delete all entries for [Application]

then start PB again opene your application and set the librarylist
again.

After doing that we can bild our application.

Hope this helps
