You can use the following mechanism to get the sort order that was set at
design time.

setting = dw_1.Object.DataWindow.Table.Sort

dw_1.Describe("DataWindow.Table.Sort")

Note that if your datawindow is shared then you must do the describe against
the primary data object, the secondary one won't work.
