I am trying to use a retrieval argument that is a datetime in a where
clause. The database is MS SQL 7.0 and I am using an ODBC connection.
The column type in the DB is datetime.
The retrieval argument rdate as datetime.
Select reelid.reel from reelid where reel_date > :rdate
When I try and return to the datawindow with the select I get an error:
SQLSTATE = 22008
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Syntax Error converting
datetime from character string.
If I make the retrieval argument a date it work but I need the time also.
Does anyone have any ideas or is this a bug?
Thanks in advance.

I am having the exact same problem with PB 6.5. I was surprised to find
this post because it is exactly the same thing I was just starting to post
about. I'm glad I searched first ;)

Jeffrey, if you have received any personal responses, could you please pass
them on to me or the list as well so I can solve this, too? Thank you.

Dear friends:

Have you tried to pass a string argument with format "yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss"?
