When trying to perform a SELECT statement on an Access database using PB6.5
through ODBC, I get an error code 999, "Program type out of range." Has
anyone ever encountered this and what can I do about it?

This may be a question for Microsoft, but maybe someone can help me here as I
may have an incorrect ODBC driver file installed.

I got the same error with MS SQL Server v7.0. Sybase sent me new PB ODBC
driver that corrected the problem - I'm not sure if it's available publicly.

I've encountered other problems with the driver, so beware.

in powersoft.public.powerbuilder.database
I was doing OK until I installed Front Page 2000. I'm not sure what Front Page
has to do with this, but I still get the error even after uninstalling Front
Page
and reinstalling my compiled executable (I use InstallShield Express).

We have exactly the same problem with SQL SERVER 7.0 via ODBC and PB 5
We can use all the help we can get to solve this problem

I get this error too....SQLSTATE S1003 error. Using PB 6.0 or 6.5, on two
different PCs running NT 4.0 and Access 2000. Don't have this problem with
Access 97 on 3rd PC. Check Microsoft's site, no info there on this yet.
Anyone got a patch?

I am getting this error, too, ever since installing updated MDAC ODBC
drivers. I saw an earlier post from the folks at Sybase indicating that
they had fixed this problem in PB 7.0 and were working on a patch for 6.5,
but I am still waiting for the patch...
