I am using PB 6.0.0, and my DW Painter inconsistently goes nutty. If I
have various controls in the DW (i.e.. nested reports, check boxes, ...)
and I modify the properties of the controls, the DW property painter
text turns into an overly large font, the dddw arrows turn into the
number 6, and shortly after PB GPFs.

My work around is when I see the DW go NUTTY, I immediately save, and
exit the application on my own. I would suppose this is a memory leak
somewhere, but I am using a PII 300, with 64 meg, and should be able to
run PB 6 just fine. Is there a documented error for this or is there
some patch that will fix this with out breaking 20 other items.

With the help I received from Sybase support it is no wonder that their
stock keeps plummeting. It seems all of the talent is leaving the
company, and they can no longer provide a good product.

Get PB6.5. PB6.0 was worthless. The upgrade can be found on Sybase's ftp
site.
